Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Chateau Camensac is a Bordeaux wine estate in the Haut-Medoc region, just over the border from Saint-Julien.The estate has around 75 hectares (185 acres) of vines with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot planted in an approximate 60:40 split. Vineyards are largely continguous; the railway line divides the main blocks from the "Lagrange" plots, which are adjacent to Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien. Soils are predominantly gravel (with a zone of sandy gravel) and planted to Cabernet Sauvignon; areas of chalky clay around the borders of the property are where most of the Merlot blocks are situated.
