Château Lestage Simon is located in the Médoc region of Bordeaux, France. The grape varieties planted include 62% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 1% Petit Verdot. The soils consist of a mix of sand, limestone, and clay. Since 2010, the estate has been under the guidance of the renowned flying winemaker consultant, Michel Rolland. With his expertise, the quality of the wine has significantly improved. Known primarily for its Merlot-based wines, the estate is often referred to as the "Petit Pomerol of the Left Bank."
