Château Montrose is a winery in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region of France. The wine produced here was classified as one of fourteen Deuxièmes Crus (Second Growths) in the original Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855.
Chateau Palmer’s rare white wine. The Vineyard of white grapes is only 1.4 hectares and only produce 1,400 bottles every year, which is very rare. Instead of using the common Bordeaux blanc blends (Sauivignon Blanc and Semillion), several white grape varieties that were popular in the early 20th century (Muscadelle, Lauzet and Sauvignon Gris) were used.
