Château Beauregard is a Bordeaux Right Bank wine estate known for its Merlot-Cabernet Franc red blends. The estate is located in the east of Pomerol, close to Saint-Émilion.Grapes are fermented in large, modern, temperature-controlled, wineglass-shaped cement tanks. These vary in size to correspond with different plots in the vineyard. Unusually, some parcels that feature both grape varieties are fermented together. The wine is aged for 18 to 24 months in French oak barrels, with around two-thirds new wood. In recent times, the wines have been known for their light, approachable style though the very latest vintages are increasing in weight.
